This volunteer assignment involves a lot of walking, bending or kneeling, and lifting up to 15 lbs. Volunteer times will vary. One shift of volunteers is needed an hour and a half before the gates open to the public to set up boxes and insert liners and then monitor the trash boxes during the show. A second shift of volunteers will start an hour and a half before the show ends and continue after the show for about four hours until the grounds are clean and trash has been removed. A third shift of volunteers is needed for Monday morning (7am-12noon) after the weekend show to do a final grounds and perimeter clean up to prepare the airfield for opening to air traffic. Volunteers must be 15 years old to work during the Airshow, but can be as young as 12 if accompanied by an adult and their assignment would be to clean up after the Airshow performance or on Monday morning. Volunteering after the show or on Monday allows volunteers to attend one show during the weekend.
