THE OREGON INTERNATIONAL AIR SHOW CONFIRMS
THE RETURN OF THE U.S. NAVY BLUE ANGELS TO HILLSBORO

The Oregon International Air Show is pleased to confirm the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will perform as scheduled at the 2007 Oregon International Air Show, presented by Standard TV & Appliance.

The Air Show looks forward to hosting the Blues on August 11-12, 2007 and celebrating our 20th anniversary with their crowd pleasing and awe-inspiring precision flying demonstrations.

“The Blue Angel’s presence is meaningful because they performed at our very first show twenty years ago. However, in light of the recent loss of their team member, Lt. Cmdr. Kevin Davis, their participation is even more significant” said Judy Willey, Air Show president.

The Oregon International Air Show, presented by Standard TV & Appliance, will take place at the Hillsboro Airport on August 10-12, 2007.  The 20th anniversary show will begin Friday, August 10 and feature the U.S. Navy Blue Angel’s Fat Albert,  Sean D. Tucker and Team Oracle, The National Guard’s John Klatt and the U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team. The evening will come to a finish with a spectacular fireworks display presented by Homeland Fireworks and ATG.  The Saturday, August 11 and Sunday, August 12 shows will feature the U.S. Navy’s Blue Angels along with many other outstanding performances, fly-bys and displays.
